We were moving to Barcelona with a lot of baggage and a cat and this was a temp stay before our apartment was ready for move-in. Hotel's personnel was very accommodating to our special circumstances and needs, with special thanks to Simo. They did their best to ensure we had a smooth experience and enjoyed our stay in the midst of a very stressful moving process. Also, breakfast was nothing short of amazing! and you can order food to your room till 11PM, it was also delicious.

Catalonia Square Hotel was the perfect place to stay. The very efficient staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we stepped out of our taxi. Our room was exceptionally comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location was also perfect for exploring the Gothic Quarter and wandering the length of La Rambla. Many other of Barcelona's major tourist attractions were also within easy walking distance from the hotel.

Although we only had a short stay, we had a great time at Hotel Catalonia. The perfect last stop of our Europe trip. Rooms were spacious and clean. The bathrooms were also big. All of the staff were helpful and polite. Plus, it’s near all the shopping street.

    The room was big and it had a minibar and a fridge which is always appreciated. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The hotel is very pretty and I love that is pet friendly and they were very welcoming of our dog. The first day we forgot to put the “do not disturb” sign and they changed the towels and made the bed very nicely. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and always gave us every indication or information we needed. Great service overall. Also great location. Right next to the train and walking distance from a lot of great places.

    Breakfast was great, a lot of variety. The location was also perfect for us cuz we wanted to be as close as possible to the station. I was a bit worried that we’ll hear the noise, but nothing like that at all. But the area is obviously not the nicest in the city, okay, but not wow. The place is pet friendly, so that was a HUGE bonus. You have to pay 100 euro for them to allow you with the dog, but it’s totally worth it. And people, the staff, were super friendly with our dog.

    Great location, very nice breakfast and very friendly staff ready to help with anything you might possibly need! Also it is worthy to mention that Catalonia Barcelona 505 was the only pet friendly hotel in Spain that brought a small bed for our dog in the room.

Very friendly staff, 15 min from airport, free shuttle during peak hours, nice restaurant, coffee/tea making facilities in room, good value and pet friendly. Appreciated the nice touch of supplying a water bowl and a dog bed this time.
