the house had everything we needed for 5 women who were walking the Camino. There was outside space as well and we arrived in good weather. A few in our group were tired after walking and did a little stretch session out on the lawn. It is a bit off the camino but that was not an issue because the host was so accommodating. He picked us up when we messaged him and then dropped us back off in the morning. We even had one in our group who could not walk the entire way and the host dropped her off where she wanted to start. We had everything we needed and more. Coffee, crescents and treats.

The place seems secure. The common shared areas are clean. The kitchen is stocked with things you need. The best thing is that this has a washer and a tumble dryer. Very useful for washing clothes for the Camino walk.

The Casa Grande do Soxal is a beautiful stone building in the middle of green forests, close to A Coruña. The host was super friendly and always very considerate about our needs and questions. His English by the way is perfect!
