Exceptional! Great location, food and above all the Whisky bar is the best I have been all my life. Rooms are very clean and spacious. If you plan to visit the Speyside for the Whisky trail or anything else, I highly recommend this hotel. Price maybe higher than most hotels but its really worth it

Really great staff, friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Dog friendly, to the point they get their own breakfast served with ours. Live music in the bar/ restaurant was excellent.

The lodge is very conveniently located just when entering town. The host were super friendly and always interested to making feel at home. The room was cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, being spoiled with nice local breakfast foods (e.g. full English, egg omelettes etc.). All in all just a great stay!

We were told the hotel was pet friendly that this was definitely true. Our two golden retrievers enjoyed their stay. All the staff were really friendly and efficient. We all enjoyed the dinners and breakfast in the Copper Dog. We all had different meals and everyone thought the food was excellent.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The location, being so close to the Speyside Way is absolutely perfect for a walk and also if you have a dog. The wonderful example of Thomas Telford’s engineering - the Spey Bridge at Craigellachie is also a short walk from the Highlander Inn. The food and the vast selection of malt whiskies was just a delight. This will now be our preferred place to stay when visiting the Speyside area.
