We booked 111 by Mayfair in Portrush for our team and clients ahead of The Open golf championship, and it exceeded every expectation. Traveling from the U.S. on business, we are extremely selective about accommodation — this property delivered on all fronts. The level of finish throughout the home is outstanding. From the craftsmanship and high-end furniture to the well-equipped kitchen, spacious pantry, stylish bar area, and multiple lounge spaces — every detail is top-tier. Each bedroom had its own TV and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The WiFi was strong and accessible throughout the entire property, which was critical for our working needs. We were among the first guests to experience this home, and we couldn’t have been more impressed. It’s perfectly suited for a range of uses — large group bookings, golf trips, business retreats, or family gatherings. If we return to the area, 111 by Mayfair will be our only choice. Highly recommended.

It is very rare for me to give less than 8/10. Unfortunately, after much thought, I cannot give this house more than 6/10. The owner self-describes this as "luxury" and as having 3 bathrooms. Both are incorrect. The most important aspect of accommodations in my mind is the comfort of the beds and pillows. The beds and pillows here are quite terrible. The queen gets 5/10, the doubles get 4/10, and the twins get 2/10..... They were like the worst dorm mattresses ever, and you could feel all the springs in them. The linens were not much better. When someone uses the word "luxury" the beds should be very comfortable. On to the bathrooms... There are 2.5 bathrooms, not three. This makes a difference when you travel with five women, three of whom are teenagers. The towels were very thin and scratchy, not anywhere close to luxury. Where we did find luxury was the kitchen and the living room. Unfortunately, this is secondary. If the owner replaced the mattresses, the pillows, and the linens/towels... I would give this place a 10/10 even with the bathroom count being off. It was convenient and roomy. The owner had great communication.

    The Rooms were a good size as we had our dog with us so needed room for his crate. They had a dog friendly Restaurant which was helpful & the staff were great .Food was great & brought water bowl & doggie Biscuits for our dog.

    Great location. Friendly welcome. Added bonus of being pet friendly however this time we left our four-legged friend at home. Will definitely be back with her next time. Food was lovely. Prices very reasonable with great offers. Great pint of Guinness on tap. Winter offers available with DBB and a bottle of wine for either 1-2-3 nights. (Really gives you something to consider) for another cheeky break away.
