I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Matala Hostel! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel like a special guest. The highlight for me was definitely the inviting swimming pool, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The staff, led by Adam the manager, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Names like Sophie, Tobias, Theo, Caroline, and many others made my time here unforgettable with their friendly and helpful demeanor. I highly recommend Matala Hostel for anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional hospitality. Can't wait to return!

We had a truly wonderful stay! The house was very cozy, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully arranged-every detail was considered, making us feel right at home. The surrounding nature was stunning and made for a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Our hosts, both father and daughter Elena, were exceptionally attentive and welcoming, always ready to help and ensure we had everything we needed. It was clear that a lot of care went into making this place special. Highly recommended-would love to return!

very genuine and cosy place you are in a village house which I loved ideal for few nights stay few minutes from Phaistos site for visits, and beautiful Komos beach to relax very kind helpful and responsive host good beds and AC in each rooms all you may need is there (we even get olive oil from our host to cook!) lovely terrace outdoor across the pathway which was unfortunately not in the shade in the morning
