Vinod is the consummate host offering huge meals, delicious drinks and boat service. In addition he guided me through festival activities, biking and kayaking. The beautifully constructed wooden accommodation has two rooms (AC and fan) with shared lounge and balcony space. I highly recommend Mocktail homestay for a full on island experience.

it was very clean, comfortable and well-decorated. we enjoyed the outdoor area as well as the room itself. we had everything we needed and were treated very well by the host. it would’ve been even better if it were on the river or canal but it was still great

The hosts were very friendly and nice. They arranged boat trips, suggested some places to see, and helped get tuktuks when we needed. The room was very spacious and clean. The food was fantastic - some of the best we had in Kerala.

The cottage itself was cozy, spotless, and had all the amenities we could ask for, but the real star of the show was the location. The view of the lake from the private garden was absolutely breathtaking, and it was so incredibly peaceful. We spent our mornings sipping coffee and watching the mist rise off the water, and our evenings listening to the gentle sounds of nature. It was the perfect escape from the city. We'll definitely be back!

It's a brand new resort and quite clean. Some facilities like TV and a fan in the verandah are in the pipeline we are told. We all liked the niche dining area outside each room in the verandah. Good idea.
