Everything was just perfect in Borgo Segine, we enjoyed every single aspect of our stay, the place really exceeded our excpectations. The rooms are great, extra clean, spacious and had everything we needed with a beautiful balcony with pool and garden view. The property has a huge farm with exotic bird species, and a small playground for kids, a true piece of heaven for couples and families. We stayed there with my 2 year daughter, she really felt at home and she loved the people there and the little dog. Best holidays for us :D

Initially we selected Agriturismo Villa Pina mostly for its location: 4 km from Lecce, and a convenient base for our day trips around Salento to San Foca, Otranto, Galatina, Gallipoli, etc. What we didn't expect was a level of hospitality from Paola and her team. It was absolutely exceptional. Breakfast was the best we've had during our 3 week trip in Sicily and Puglia. The restaurant is a full service place run by very friendly Luigi and his crew. If you're getting tired of fish, it is the place for lovers of various meats. The herbs and vegetables are grown right here. The wine list is 100% local Salento wines. Large rooms are in the former stables, since there used to be a horse breeding operation, and room doors have the names of horses plus their birth years. The property is very large, and parking is the last thing you need to worry about. We didn't use large pool due to the end of season, but there are plenty of space to relax, or you can cross a narrow street and see an equestrian center where teenagers are riding beautiful horses. To summarize, we felt our planning was a bit off, and wished to stay another day or two, if we could. A note. When setting your driving route use Agriturismo Villa Pina, not just Villa Pina, which is a different place in totally different location, also near Lecce. Learn from our mistake.
