We enjoyed our stay very much. The setting was beautiful with stunning views!! The staff was friendly and welcoming, especially, Era, the puppy!! Renaldo, Aldo and Maria couldn’t be any better. The meals were excellent and plentiful with the best cappuccino and wines. We even had fun with the language differences and communicated well.

A good location for a stress-free getaway in Cagnano Amiterno, Agriturismo Cupello is a farm stay surrounded by views of the mountain.

Everything was great at the apartment. We really enjoyed the terrace and the quiet space. The host also arranged a lovely breakfast for us which we've really appreciated as there isn't a shop nearby. The property is really beautiful and authentic and quite close to many Gran Sasso points of interest. The only thing about the town itself is that unfortunately the damages made by the 2009 earthquake have permanently marked this lovely place, turning it into a very very quiet spot. The amount of stray cats around the neighbourhood is impressive. There are many signs of reconstruction but also many of destruction... it kinda hurts to see a great place like that forced to exist in such a harsh reality. We were happy to have contributed to the local economy a bit, staying at the place but also eating at the nearby great restaurant called Il Borgo. Just thought I'd mention this in case someone expects Assergi to be lively and entertaining. Great place to sleep, but definitely the nearby nature is the main entertainment. But Piazzetta del Forno really didn't disappoint, a nice gem in a little town where time seems to have stopped for a bit.
