This is a comfortable little flat in the town of Montepulciano Stazione, which btw is different to the town of Montepulciano. (Check Google Maps before you go.) It has everything you need for a pleasant stay. It's also slightly below street level, which means it's a bit cooler than most buildings during the hot summer months. Although the host can't speak English, if you have questions which she can't answer she will put you directly in touch with other English-speaking family members, and they will answer your questions over the phone. In an area which is quite overpriced in general, this place offers good value for money. It's also quite nearby some beauty spots like Castiglione del Lago, which is definitely worth a visit. If you stay here, just be sure that you understand how the front door closes, so you don't lock yourself out. It has an unusual system which takes a bit of getting used to. But once you've got it, it's no problem.

Everything! Calm and beautiful atmosphere and amazing food! The pool was much appreciated by the whole family as it was 35 degrees outside. Stunning sunsets, air conditioning in the rooms (not apartments) and very helpful personnel. Most knew English which made everything easier. The apartments were completely renovated, brand new tile, kitchen, beds and furniture. Super comfortable and modern. Beds were great, the min split wall heaters were warm instantly. After a day of hiking the hills of Montepulciano’s downtown square having a kitchenette, was a blessing, everyone was ready to pack it in for the day. With a range, we we were able to go to the supermarket and buy dinner and breakfast for the next morning. What a cute little gem. They had a washer and dryer too.
