Los Susurros was a fantastic place to stay. The Bungalow is quite large and squeaky clean (and it has a working & clean fridge as well as good Air-conditioning). From the moment we arrived we immediately felt at home, because Adriana treated us more as friends than as guests. She helped us plan our stay, organized an amazing jungle walking tour and prepared simple, yet super tasty breakfasts. A large highlight of the place are the free roaming howler monkeys and the monkey rescue station which is taken care of by the owner. Generally the whole area is a thoughtfully designed garden full of animals (cats, dogs, monkeys, ...). Even though the last stretch of the road is a bit rough, we did not have any problems getting there with our small (non-4WD) rental car. So if you plan on visiting Palenque, we definitely recommend staying here (and definitely listen to Adriana's tips - we loved everything she recommended! E.g. the Roberto Barrios cascadas!!).

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Mercedes in Palenque. The place is beautiful, tranquil, located in the middle of the jungle. Very good service, clean spacious rooms and good breakfast. Would definitely recommend to any traveller going to Palenque!

Very nice surroundings, feeling of being right in the middle of junggle. You encounter and hear a lot of animals while staying there. The rooms are big! The attached restaurant is excellent. Very good food, live music and apparently a fire show (never seen it though).

Good location. Easy access to the pyramids. AC worked well. Room was clean. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Pets are allowed at no extra cost. Pool was nice to jump into after exploring the archeological site.

The location, the facilities were great, free water, coffee, air conditioning. Close to the ADO bus station, and short walk into town. The reception women were also very friendly.

It was like a resort but very quiet. The swimming pool was warm and amazing. There were a lot of birds and the Hammocks on the patios were excellent. Breakfast was ok. Taking a bus to town and the bus station was very simple. The handsome manager was pleasant and helpful. Taking a tour Bus (Otisa) from San Cristobal de las casas to Palenque was the way to go, safe and affordable and when you are done the 3 stop tour of the waterfalls and Palenque Pyramids have them drop you off on the road in front at Cabana Safari, it really is an oasis and you will not be disappointed. Be sure to have snacks with you. Careful with the Taxi Drivers and know your prices. Be sure to visit Christian at the Monopoly Drink very near the town square, his drinks are amazing and very exquisite and unique.

This was my second time here, after staying for a month about a year ago. It was nice to see the improvements they made. It is a convenient place to park your car, which is difficult downtown. Everything was in good order. One of few places with a pool, which was clean. A good value.
