GREAT location by downtown and near the train station, buy quiet and with a nice deck. Spacious with a well equipped kitchenette. Reception desk was welcoming and free coffee anytime!

This incredibly charming, historical, funky hotel was a delight to stay in. All the staff were wonderful. The breakfast was great (ginger juice shots one morning!), the location ideal to take day trips to places where the hotels cost 4 times as much. Our room was large, with a sofa for our dog and an outdoor area to read and watch the weather. I wish we could have based our entire trip to Norway from this hotel.

Staff - The staff at Oppdallsporten were friendly from the start(checking in) to me checking out. They helped me out with anything I needed. Restaurant - Free Breakfast! No complaints. It's your traditional Norwegian breakfast items. Outside of that everything on their menu is made to order. While I was there I had both the bacon cheeseburger and fish and chips. Both meals were great and I would have them again if I was there. Room - A lot of room in this room. Thought it would have been smaller since I had been in the country for about a week and was use to smaller rooms.
