The property is in a good location. Daniel is lovely and allowed for me to bring my bags early. He showed me a space to do laundry, the kitchen and lounge. The rooms and space is very traditional of a home stay. Simple but comfortable. If I come back to Iquitos, I will be staying here again.

I spent two unforgettable nights at this jungle lodge near Monkey Island, completely immersed in nature. The two owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel at home right away. Their way of life is truly authentic—electricity is only available in the afternoon, and everything feels deeply connected to the jungle. Excellent, rustic stay and our guides Christian and Segundo couldn't have been better! Very cool guys and they are legit one with nature they know EVERYTHING about the Amazon life. The lodge itself is super cool - literally in the middle of the jungle. And the food is the best part of the stay, breakfast, lunch and dinner and they make sure you're never hungry! Excellent stay, felt safe the entire time including the included transportation from the airport and back. Highly recommend Jacamar if you want to truly experience the Amazon of Peru.
