It was a one night stay for an event and we were not looking for a "Hilton" type stay; this is an older facility and exceeded my expectations. A good value!

Had a king room. Booked the smoking room first but went to change it when we walked in and it smelled like smoke. Obviously I looked like an idiot trying to change it, but the guy at the desk was cool about it and let us change. The new room smelled great. The bed was so comfortable I hated getting up in the mornings. When we turned the TV and lights off and closed the shades, it was pitch black. And quiet. Water pressure was good and got hot fast. TV worked well and had a lot of channels. The fridge actually has a freezer part which was cool. It came with a microwave. The location is perfect. It's literally right across the street from the Walmart and on the main strip. The owner was super accommodating. Every time we called down, he came and helped us out. Great guy, real chill. We saw he was short on staff and was doing most of the work so we made sure to clean up as much as we could and pull the trash, but he insisted on handling it and made sure our stay was as comfortable and accommodating as possible. Parking was great. And I love Milledgeville! I was on a budget and my expectations were exceeded

    Room was nice, draperies ripped up, though. Lots of stairs even for the first floor and covered in sand. Weird. Made it harder than necessary to walk my dog. Grounds were fine, breakfast was decent. Imagine my surprise when I found no bath towels in my room..maid with amnesia? That was annoying. Couldn't call front desk because the phone didn't work. Strange location tucked away behind a strip mall. Attention to detail makes a world of difference, I recommend it!

    It has a gorgeous entryway, easy and fast check in after reserving online. Also pet friendly, so that worked out for my daughter. When I go back to Ga. this is where I will be staying.
