The breakfast was really good, but the evening meal we had there was out of this world. We had the steak, pimento grits and creamed spinach, and every bite was heaven

This was a marvelous and historical place. Macy filled us in on the history and fed us an amazing breakfast. We had an amazing view of the Mississippi River from our veranda. It was like stepping back in time, but with modern amenities. The extra bonus is that it's dog friendly.
