It's a nice site and the camste areas are very private and much more spread out than most. Private bathroom and a tent (brand new) with made up beds. Very reasonably priced and good location for going on to Moremi or chobe. The owners offered to light us a fire in the evening and brought us wood. There's a lovely lodge right next door with a bar and reasonably priced restaurant which you can use also. Very nice, handy campsite.

It was a VERY last minute & late arrival booking and he was very accommodating. The place is huge and there are aircons for the bedrooms and lounge which is great. There is no backup power at the moment for the more and more frequent power cuts being experienced in Maun, but Tony is looking at a generator or solar system to assist on this front. There is backup lighting for when the electricity fails and the Wi-Fi is on a backup UPS, so at least communications are still possible for an hour or so after the start of the power cuts. The property is extremely spacious and lots of thought has gone into making it comfortable. The kitchen is very well appointed with both electric and gas stove (good during power cuts), plenty of cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. I loved the hot-tub, which was great way to ease away the stresses of the journey. I enjoyed and will definitely be back.

Nako Okavango Guesthouse ตั้งอยู่ใน Ntabis ห่างจาก Nhabe Museum 19 กม.ให้บริการที่พักพร้อมสวน ที่จอดรถส่วนตัวฟรี ลานระเบียง และห้องอาหาร ที่พักนี้ให้บริการบาร์... I could run out of superlatives to describe how good the Nako Okavango river camp is. What they have created here is hard to believe. A beautiful set of tent cabins set beside the river. (Camping available also). Everything used in the building and grounds are top quality, the carpentry and building are excellent, water pressure, swimming pool, security lights; nothing has been skimped on. The main restaurant/bar area looks out over the river and the cabins are in a wide arc along the banks under flowing trees. Inside the cabins are comfy beds with top quality linen, doonas, blankets and pillows with draping mosquito nets. Flaps on the flywire windows can be opened for the air and views. Very hot water showers, fridge and a deck with chairs to sit out on. I have to mention the greatest assets are Mike the owner and manager Regina. Mike is such a larger than life fellow with many interesting and humorous stories of an amazing life. He’s also a quality chef and made 3 wonderful dinners for us. They are both so friendly and helpful and really made our stay wonderful. Regina can also do clothes washing if needed. They also organised a Mokoro canoe trip for us, which was really worthwhile. And directed us to the Duck cafe near the airport, best coffee in Maun! It’s about 15 minutes outside Maun just off the bitumen road, there is a large sign on the highway. The short dirt road in was hard packed and easily passable in our 2wd corolla.

Excellent quiet location as it is 10km south of Maun so none of the usual town noise. We had a chalet that was clean and comfortable with a lovely open air shower. Good to have electric sockets in the room and wifi to catch up with the world. Food in the restaurant was OK being mostly burgers and pizza.

Jump Street Chalets is located 10 minutes' drive from the centre of Maun. It offers an outdoor pool and a restaurant. Our rooms are classic African touch in decor. Great value for money. The staff were so helpful - organised a fantastic 3 day safari for us on arrival to leave the next day! Great value for money. We didn’t have any issues finding the property as some of the reviews had said - there were plenty of signs and google maps took us right to it anyway.

I felt like family while I was there. The place is clean and safe and it's only a short walk to the taxi pick-up spot. I was shown around, and even escorted my first few days until i got the hang of everything. Oh, and if you opt in to breakfast, you will be well-fed. I'm talking real home cooking. Good stuff. At first it might seem like the property is far out of town, but it's really not. It's only a 10-15 minute ride to get to center, and cars go frequently. This is a great place to stay with great people. Don't hesitate.
