Beautiful modern hotel. Preferred this to the older accommodation in Locarno. Lovely rooms, great food and a short (free) train ride to and from Locarno.

Hotel Belvedere Locarno, a superior 4-star hotel, is open year-round and offers 90 rooms and suites with beautiful views of Lake Maggiore, the city and the mountains. Beautiful property and spacious room with luxe feeling. Room had a fantastic view and of course the pool area was just fabulous. We travelled with our baby and the touches for him were so cute and appreciated - they even had a baby bath there we could use !! Everything was top notch and we only had room service dinner but it was great, however the restaurant looked incredible for dinner.

This 4-star hotel offers a concierge service and luggage storage space. great and variety kind of food in the breakfast , clean room, the non-alcohol drinks in the room are complement, next to the funicular (1.3 CHF/way free when I use Swiss pass or Ticino pass )from the train station, friendly staff give me a bottle of water when check out .

Stayed one night while passing through, but should have stayed a few more. Beautiful views, away from the hustle and bustle. Thanks!

Katiusca is truly the most sweet, kind, generous, warm, and welcoming host. She literally welcomed us with open arms and was so kind to us from the very first message when we had booked our stay months prior. We feel like we made a new friend! She went out of her way to explain and answer our questions regarding restaurant reservations and activities in the area. She verified times for us for the little train that goes around Bellinzona, which is an adorable little train ride and she gave us tips about the local markets and was so attentive to our every need. She offered us lovely goods from the bakery for breakfast and the vanilla croissant was so delicious and the bread she provided every day for us was some of the best bread we've ever had! And the view from our "Blue Balance" room was absolutely stunning! It had a floor to ceiling window with a gorgeous balcony and we could see the mountains and the town and the castles and there aren't enough woods in the world to say how fabulous the view was and we were able to see from the comfort of our room fireworks on New Year's Eve. The view from the shared kitchen was lovely and we were able to heat some basic things on the stove. There was no microwave but it wasn't necessary for us. She is such a lovely person and gave extra pillows in the room at our request because we were recovering from an injury. She gave us beautiful gifts when we left and offered us fantastic Prosecco when we arrived. All in all it was an extraordinary exceptional stay and we highly recommend it. She is a truly kind warm and welcoming person.

Aia ja mäevaatega Villa by @ Home Hotel Locarno asub Locarno ajaloolises hoones, 1,2 km kaugusel Piazza Grande Locarnost. This was one of the most beautiful and luxurious places where we have ever stayed! Our room with huge terrace was gorgeous, both modern and functional, and tastefully designed with antique furniture. The bed was large and very comfortable. We slept with the double doors wide open, and woke up with a view of the mountains. Since the weather was good, we spent much time on the terrace, which was our extended living room. The fancy espresso maker in the room did not have decaf capsules, so after mentioning this to our hosts, they graciously provided a different espresso maker in the shared kitchen. That kitchen has everything you could wish for. The bathroom attached to our room was new and gorgeous, with a bathtub as well as a shower.
