So for us, due to some urgent matters we had to leave the hotel 2 days ahead of the booked schedule. The Hotel was super cooperative and understanding of the situation and even said they would refund the days we didnt spend at the hotel. The hotel's location is great, surrounded by an incredible shopping mall and within 20-30 minutes walking distance of all the attractions in Chongqing. When I go to Chongqing again I will most definitely stay there again. Also for me personally the construction of the interior and the cleanliness are very important -- both were wonderful. I feel like I could have stayed there forever. I also want to give a special appreciation to the man downstairs (Valet?) named David (大卫), he was very polite and helpful until the last second of our stay. He would engage in some simple small talk but never make you feel like you would have to have a conversation with him, which I think is a skill that we dont see often anymore, this ease of talking to someone. David was our last impression of the hotel and it couldn't have ended better

For solo travel, safety and comfort are my top priorities—and this hotel delivers on both! Arriving in the early morning, the front desk staff still greeted me warmly, completed check-in quickly, and explained the hotel’s safety facilities and nearby transportation in detail. The high-altitude view from the room was amazing—pulling back the curtains in the morning, I saw mist over the river and the sunrise in the distance, with every photo looking beautiful without filters. I accidentally left my charger in the restaurant during my stay, but after contacting the front desk, they found it quickly and kept it safe for me. Every time I went out, the front desk would actively remind me of the weather and opening hours of popular attractions, as thoughtful as a friend. The room was clean and tidy with excellent sound insulation—no outside distractions at all. It’s a reassuring choice for solo travel, and I’ll definitely prioritize booking here next time.

The people of Chongqing are incredibly warm and hospitable, and we absolutely fell in love with the place. Our room was very spacious, and the staff—especially a young man who assisted us—was both friendly and enthusiastic. The transportation here is extremely convenient, making it easy for us to explore many nearby spots with friends. The area is lively and bustling, with beautiful architecture and delicious food—especially the many spicy dishes. Our trip to Chongqing was truly wonderful, and we look forward to visiting again!

I Chongqing, 12 minutters gange fra Hongya-grotten og 3,3 kilometer fra sentrum, ligger Neyar Tranquil Light and Shadow Aesthetics Hotel, Chongqing. My absolute favourite place we’ve stayed in China! This hotel is gorgeous, the design is absolutely lovely and the rooms are so spacious. The bed was so incredibly comfy and they provide so many amenities. The staff are so kind as well and speak great English. Breakfast was super tasty and cooked fresh to order. The location is great - super close to key areas but away from the chaos. I can’t wait to come back!

We stayed at this hotel for a few days and really enjoyed the experience. The location is excellent—it's just a one-minute walk to Jiefangbei, which made getting around incredibly convenient. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions nearby, so everything we needed was within walking distance. Overall, the great location brought a lot of convenience to our stay, and we would definitely recommend this hotel.
