Speaking Arabic, Catalan, Czech and German at the reception, staff are always on hand to help. This is truly a 5* property and our experience from start to finish exemplifies this. Reception, especially KRISTEL, was magnificent and she made it her mission to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. From explaining the area of Barcelona we were in, giving us a map and pointing out nearby highlights, giving us dining tips, and always greeting us with a smile, Kristel is a prime example of excellent customer service and someone who is truly caring and loves their job. We received little handwritten notes from the hotel over the course of our stay and it really shows that the hotel sees you as a GUEST and not just a CUSTOMER. The room itself was amazing and everything was immaculately clean. The room was huge and had a lot of windows letting in natural light. Bed was super comfortable, even the extra bed since we were 3. Breakfast was high quality since it is on an order basis. I actually prefer this to buffet options where the food is oftentimes old, cold, or both. The staff at both breakfast and at the rooftop restaurant were extremely helpful and friendly. Checkout was equally amazing. Since we do go to Spain often, The One Barcelona will now be our go-to hotel whenever we visit.

Mas Pere Pau is located in the natural setting of Bruguers, in Besalú, 5 minutes' drive from the city centre. It offers well-equipped apartments, studios and rooms with mountain and garden views. The property also features a swimming pool and free Wi-Fi throughout. We just stayed for one night but had a good experience overall. The staff was really nice and helpful and the location is very relaxing.

Guests can enjoy drinks, snacks and traditional tapas at Catalonia Square Bar. The breakfast is served until 12:00. Room service is also available. Location was perfect. Close to major attractions. Room was very clean. WiFi strong. No complaints from me. Didn’t have breakfast there so can’t comment.
