B&B Cuenca is set on the banks of the river Júcar, 5 minutes’ drive from Cuenca’s old town and famous Hanging Houses. This charming property offers rooms with free Wi-Fi. Fernando and his sister were lovely, very helpful and made us very welcome. Our room on the 1st floor was large and overlooked the river. The radiators kept the room and private bathroom lovely and warm, which was wonderful after wandering around Cuenca in the January weather. The breakfast they served each day was great, with good coffee made with hot milk, homemade cake, hard boiled eggs and toast with jam, honey or mashed tomato as the Spanish like. They also squeezed oranges each day for juice and offered a choice of fruit. It was great and more than enough for us. There was also free parking in the street in front of the hotel; a bonus. The location was perfect, a nice walk into the historic centre but lovely for walking along the river into the country too. We would strongly recommend this accommodation and look forward to a return visit.

We can park our car right in front of our unit. The unit is spotless clean equipped with enough and modern items one will need to stay in comfortably. The host, Ricardo, prepared a special and delicious dinner for us to celebrate. He also helped us to check how to settle the Albacete parking ticket we received the day before. This is a very comfortable, super clean and well located apartment in the old town of Cuenca. Eva is a fantastic host and very helpful and responsive. We were 2 couples and I have to say the trundle beds in the second bedroom are probably better suited to children or young people. However this doesn't detract from the high quality of the apartment. The lift was very much appreciated by my parents and the washing machine was very helpful. The kitchen is well appointed and the centre of town is a 5-7 minute walk away. There is a bus stop 2 minutes away. I would recommend this apartment for a base to explore Cuenca.
