It was my first time in Lappeenranta and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The hotel is fabulous, filled with history, clean, confortable, and staff is extraordinarily kind and helpful. A few blocks down the hotel's street, there's a brewery called Tuju (To you) that serves a Margherita pizza (Marko-Riitta as they call it) that's simply the best I've ever tasted. The city of Lappeenranta as a whole invites one to walk around, contemplate the lakes, its beautiful streets and parks and enjoy some of the famous South Karelia's cakes (10 out of 10). It's been definitely an experience worth repeating ;)

Airi is the best host I've ever seen. There is a nice terrace facing the forest. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds are clean and comfy. The coastal area is extraordinarily gorgeous and tranquil. I drive to the place. There's a local grocery store and restaurant in the neighbourhood. I would like to stay there again.

I think Lietsu Boutique Aparthotel is exemplary. The room is clean, quiet and have nearly all I needed. Location is great as well.

Everything was even better than expected! The cabin is very roomy, everything was provided for, the nearby forests were amazing. Easy to find, but do double check that your postal code in the navigator is correct, as there are several roads with the same name within 100-150km radius with similar postal codes ;) Ask me how I learned that, ha ha! Complete silence at night, most peaceful and beautiful location at a hilly lakeside. The buildings were all in our private use, all in excellent condition, and we tried out everything, from cooking on open fire to sauna and the gym. The beds were just perfect in hardiness. Hot water was perfectly enough for two at least, and we did not need to wait for it much at all. Water quality was also good, and had no side tastes at all, perfectly OK for drinking. Kitchen was better equipped than most cabins, allowing us to prepare wonderful meals. And the hosts are just SUPERB, extremely friendly and quick to answer, amazingly hospitable. Thank you so much for trusting us with your beautiful cottage. We had such a good time and would love to revisit. Big plus for the yard, the car could be parked literally centimeters away from the front door.
