We also made use of a very comfortable guest lounge, with guides and other books. The chateau, furnishings and design are stunning! Our bedroom (and adjoining bathroom) was one of the best we have stayed in, with a very comfortable bed. We were also encouraged to share the large and beautiful garden, where we had a welcome drink from Alexia. The chateau is very well located for travel to/from Calais, and there is plenty to do in the area. We particularly enjoyed visiting Le Touquet. Excellent suggestions for restaurants from Alexia. The was a little garden with a view over the marshland. The kitchen was really well equipped, there was even a crab claw cracker for the local crab we bought for dinner and an oyster knife. The apartment was also dog friendly - a pet bowl was supplied. The host was very friendly on arrival.
