There is a lovely terrace where a continental breakfast was served each morning. The property has a big yard with trees and shade (and a swimming pool!). The mornings were lovely to sit outside and hear the cicadas warming up for the day.

The hosts make sure you have all the information and comforts you need for a lovely stay.

Hotel La Mère Germaine offers air-conditioned accommodation in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Without exception, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The availability of parking was much appreciated but I guess that it is possible that the car park is sometimes full. The Michelin Star restaurant was excellent and not as expensive as we might have expected. The recommended wines (by the glass) were particularly good value.
