Everything was excellent from start to finish, both Mark & Richard were lovely & made me feel very welcome & relaxed. What a beautiful guest house this is, would love to return one day.

All rooms at The Highdown Hotel feature private bathrooms and TVs. Rooms also include tea/coffee-making facilities and hairdryers. breakfast was gorgeous. Room was clean and amenities wonderful. Didn't stay for dinner unfortunately, but the menu looked great.

The property is non-smoking and is located 44 km from Leeds Castle. Sue and Simon are the perfect hosts, friendly, kind and lovely. The flat was spotless, a real home from home and ideal for Rye town centre or going further afield. The flat has everything you need, is lovely and peaceful and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. We will definitely go back for another stay.

In addition, very close to Sheffield Park and not far from Newhaven harbor for travellers like us coming from France, it’s very convenient.
