Just book it! Young couple offering the accomodation (breakfast included) in a very old traditional renovated japanese house in a small village surroundes by rice fields. Picked us up at the train station and brought us in the evening to an amazing good restaurant. The place is not that far from Eiheiji Temple.

It was a really nice place. I arrived late because I had some sightseeing to do, but I enjoyed the tatami room, bath, and breakfast. The staff were very friendly, and the area is surrounded by woods and ocean. Fukui is a very special area that not many people see, so I recommend visiting it if you get the chance.
