Very helpful host, shops a few minutes drive in town. All rooms had air con for summer and heating for winter. Cooking and socialising space with utensils, and laundry etc provided. You'd need your own car but if you're hiring then this place is great for groups.

The Bears House was an amazing place to stay for skiing in Furano. 20 minutes from the resort, it lets you stay out of the city in the countryside, but you re close enough to get groceries or dinner in town. Eating at the restaurant next door that Dan and Aya run was a highlight of our groups entire trip to Hokkaido. The hosts removed all snow and provided an amazing place for a ski trip destination.

We are a small group of three friends on a self-drive trip around Hokkaido, and 縁 EN - The Suites is by far our favorite stay of the entire journey. We absolutely loved this house — it truly feels like living like a local. The location is exceptional: you get to enjoy beautiful natural fields and mountain views, yet you’re just a short drive away from the town area. The house is very well-equipped with all the necessities you would need at home, making our stay extremely comfortable. We also slept so well here — it truly felt like a home away from home. A big thank you to our lovely hosts, Eugenia and Nick, for your warm hospitality and for taking the time to chat with us and get to know us better. You made our stay even more memorable. We hope to be back again, perhaps in the winter season!

Location is great for skiing in Furano or Tokachidake or even Fugakikawa. You do need a vehicle to get to any local stores, onsens and the ski hills. The kitchen is well organized and the accomodation easily suited 6 people.

The unit was overall clean and tidy. Beds and pillows were comfortable. There were racks and hangers for drying laundry.
