We had the most exceptional experience at Shiga No Yu - their staff was incredibly accommodating despite our poor Japanese and they provided a clean onsen, warm and cosy accommodation and most importantly the most amazing meals for breakfast and dinner every day! If you are looking for a traditional experience right outside a chairlift, this is the place to be!

The staff were very kind and helpful, always willing to solve our inquiries. They provided us a map to ease our journey around the town. They also dropped us off at Snow Monkey Park and they took us to Yudanaka Station the check out day.

The hotel owners are so kind and available. They assisted us throughout our stay and we got a lot of complimentary services we did not expect. Free transportation to the monkey park, free rental of ski materials (including clothes, helmet...everything!). My walking shoes broke and they tried fix them and gave me another pair to use in the meantime.

Located right in front of Okushiga Kogen Ski Resort, Okushiga Kogen Hotel offers accommodations with free WiFi, simple wooden interiors and mountain views. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location and well appointed rooms

يقع مكان إقامة "つるや旅館" في يامانوتشي، ضمن 4.1 كم من منتزه جيغوكوداني للقردة و11 كم من رييو سكي بارك، ويوفر غرفاً مع جهاز تكييف وحمام مشترك. Absolutely loved this property. The staff were unbelievably kind and helpful, even through the language barrier. The room was an AMAZING Japanese-style ryokan room. The onsens were clean and wonderfully warm. The location was outstanding and I loved every minute here. I wish I had been able to extend my stay!
