Located a 7-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Hotel Housei offers free WiFi access, indoor/outdoor hot spring baths and air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms. The staff were very kind and helpful, always willing to solve our inquiries. They provided us a map to ease our journey around the town. They also dropped us off at Snow Monkey Park and they took us to Yudanaka Station the check out day.

The breakfast was terrific just make sure you come on time or at the time you let staff know the day before you will come at! Also the prime location next to the station.

We had such a lovely and peaceful stay here. the staff were amazing, especially Toku-Chan :) we were worried about catching an early local train (and it was snowing), but they kindly offered us a free shuttle to the station so we didn’t have to walk. We honestly couldn’t thank them enough. The sweet cake they gave us at check-out was such a nice surprise, and we really enjoyed the onsen. The traditional ryokan room was beautifully kept, very clean, and super peaceful. We would definitely come back if we visit Yamanouchi again 🤍
