A beautiful stay nestled in nature. Rooms were impeccable with everything thought of. Our hosts were wonderful and very friendly. We had been warned of some accomodations in udawalawe making you book safaris through them directly or denying you a room, this is not one of those places. When we checked in we were offered a tour but our hosts were perfectly fine with us having one booked from outside. Dinner buffet was to die for and breakfast was wonderful.

Great people, amazing pool. Best dinner we had in Sri Lanka!!! We didn’t attend any safari, because we loved the place and enjoyed some rest in pool there. Amazing place, very clean- you have to visit and try family dinner!

I had a really great stay here! The people are super friendly, accommodating and helpful! They also helped me book a safari spontaneously, which worked out very well! From breakfast to dinner everything was perfectly organized and the food was delicious! Also the room was great for a low price! Everything was very clean, the bed was comfortable with a mosquito net, there was hot water and air conditioning. I can highl recommend the accommodation and would definitely come again!

La Casa Safari Resort se nachází v Udawalawe a nabízí zahradu, terasu, bar a bezplatné Wi-Fi. Udawalawe národní park je 11 km daleko. I stayed in a tree house for one night and it was such an exciting night. The yard of this place is so beautiful and next to it you will be able to find peacocks from the national park walking around. At night some animals were walking on the rooftop. But it wasn't bothering at all. Food was delicious and the portions really big. I highly recommend to book safari tour here too because, since my breakfast was included into the price, I were able to eat the delicious breakfast at the national park with the most amazing view. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly and the picked me up from the station and brought me to the bus station. I would definitely come here again. Thank you so much for making my stwy so special.

Super friendly staff that gave us the best experience! We had very nice Sri Lankan food for both breakfast and dinner. They also arranged taxis for us to travel to our next stop and the safari was amazing.

Green view safari resort se nachází 8 km od národního parku Udawalawe a nabízí gril a výhled do zahrady. Penzion má sluneční terasu, zázemí pro vodní sporty a restauraci. Wi-Fi je zde dostupné zdarma.... We had an outstanding stay with Prashansa and her husband in September 2025 at the GVSR. The room (Eagle Family Suite) was very clean and a good size for three adults, with a balcony and ample seating to take in the forest. The serenity and greenery on the property is fantastic (if peace is what you’re looking for). It was great to also laze about in the hammocks in the large garden area they have. And there’s a bathtub in the suite we booked. The food was absolutely delicious and filling (huge portions) for breakfast and dinner (if you decide to eat at the property). The hospitality is wonderful, their motto about guests relaxing and them making things simple really shines through everything they do. They also organised an incredible safari at Udawalawa National Park for us. Amille is a very experienced and knowledgeable safari guide who took us to great spots to find elephants in a relatively dry season when most elephants are hiding. We got really close to some incredible wild elephants thanks to his great driving without disturbing their plans/activities. GVSR is just a few moments from a really amazing Elephant Transit Home as well, which you should try to visit. Don’t hesitate for a second to choose GVSR for your visit to Udawalawa.

Max Safari Villa se nachází v Udawalawe a nabízí ubytování s venkovním bazénem, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, zahradou a sdíleným loungem. Udawalawe národní park je 14 km daleko. We stayed one night at Max’s place and were absolutely satisfied. The accommodation was very clean and beautifully furnished. The dinner was homemade and tasted amazing. The service was truly outstanding, just like at breakfast, which left nothing to be desired. Max also organized the safari for us and was a great help with other requests. We would definitely recommend this place! :)
