With her recommendations, we not only saw puffins at the bird safari but also the spectacular midnight sun! On the way back, must be the luck Ivea brought to us, we also saw the most unbelievable and only once at a life time - the midnight rainbow!! Ivea helped us to book a king crab feast at a very nice and comfortable restaurant, which is absolutely amazing! No words could express our gratitude to Ivea for her help, you made our trip to Nordkapp!

Located in the very North of Norway, Scandic Nordkapp is located in Honningsvåg. The North Cape Park can be reached within 15 km from the property. We particularly liked the personnel - kind and helpful. Our room was on the ground floor, near the reception. Spacious, good internet access and we had the car parked just outside the window. Good and assorted breakfast is served in a large restaurant in the reception area, with large windows and a great view towards the mountains. There is an approximately half an hour drive to the Nordkapp.

At Cape Marina Lodge, we stayed in two large apartments, both a with huge living room, fully equipped kitchen, and a washer/dryer. A set of 6 bedrooms are surrounding the common living area. Further, each apartment has 2 bathrooms. This was more than sufficient and most comfortable for our large party of 13 people. Add to that a sauna about 30 steps from the apartment door, and Nordkapp 10 minutes driving distance away. What else do you want?
