A good spot 30 mins away from the hustle of Napier but till close enough to explore the surrounds within a 30 mins drive. We had a wonderful time at TeMata Peak and surrounding wineries. Such a serene place. Janine made us feel so welcomed even from her note a week prior had made us really look forward to being there. The animals were really clean and no smells. Al the pig was really charming. Not our first stay in a place with animals but this is by far the cleanest. Thanks Janine!

Had the luck to stay at this brand new addition on Booking.com & Expedia - a hilltop mansion's corner apartment that overlooks the valley of hills of Taradale. The apartment's wall-to-wall drop-down windows face directly at the all too recognisable Peak, from the spacious Balcony you can see the Sugar Loaf, From where we enjoyed the sunset and watching the stars. From the dropdown windows by the dining table, you can also see a streak of the Bay in the distance. There was every cookware white were and facilities you could possibly need. There was never a need for me to ask for anything else. The house was complete. I got to do my washing, The kitchen was very spacious and allowed us to enjoy cooking in it together. The bedroom also has direct access to the balcony with the sliding glass door, which also provides the view of the hills from the bed, and a lot of sun during the day. The walkway comes with a beautiful selection of paintings, and I love the mirror and console in the entryway. Dogs' feeding bowl and water bowl were provided. Binah really appreciated that felt ball too. Lulu the guardian of the mansion was a kind and quiet pup, Binah really liked her. I had struggled to find a place I liked staying in since the flood happened in Hawkes Bay. Until this year on this year's 1st visit back to Napier. It seemed like we were the 2nd guests here or something (at least by the visitors' book, which I now realise I had forgot to sign, sorry about that.) Could not recommend an accommodation more for a trip to Napier!
