Just 8 minutes drive from the Velasco Astete Airport, the Sonesta Hotel Cusco is less than 1 km from the city centre. All rooms feature a mountain or city view. The hotel is located 10 mins walking from the central square. Staff is AMAZING and really helpful, also the breakfast has a big menu option

Wyndham Costa del Sol Cusco is a converted 17th-century mansion located in Cusco’s centre, a few steps away from Cusco Main Square and La Merced Church. I like where it’s located. I like their breakfast buffet. The staff is so nice and attentive. The room is cozy and comfortable.

Michael is an excellent host, very professional, with good advice re restaurants and how to get to various sightseeing spots. The breakfasts were plentiful and well made. They did laundry for us and ordered taxis for us twice for a reasonable price. This is a guesthouse, not a formal hotel, so if you are looking for fancy, then this is not the place for you. What you will get is a comfortable bed, a warm room, lots of hot water available for showers, and a tea station where you can help yourself. We had some great conversations with Michael and really enjoyed our stay. We felt at home there.

The hosts were very nice, offering us fruit and coffee from their garden. Dinner and breakfast were really good. Nice place to unwind after a day on the Salkantay trek :)

If you can, ask him to be your guide; you’ll gain so much insight and connection to the Sacred Valley! Claudia’s cooking was equally remarkable—each meal was a masterpiece filled with love and flavor. And, of course, we can’t forget Tupac, their adorable and friendly llama. Hugging him was such a unique and heartwarming experience! The lodge is a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and cultural immersion. To top it off, Rodi is beginning to organize Inca Trail tours with a big focus on ensuring porters are treated with the utmost care and respect. If you’re looking to explore one of the most unique places on Earth while supporting ethical practices, this is the place to start. We couldn’t recommend Spirit of the River Lodge more highly. The owners were like grandparents to our children - taking so much care to make them happy! Location close to the Moon temple is very nice, you can go for walks and horseback riding. We wanted to stay longer!

Refugio de Mery Lucmabamba se nachází v destinaci Sahuayacu a poskytuje zahradu, terasu a ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a výhledem na hory. What a fantastic place. Yes it is a little hike up a hill, but we were received with warmth from the owners and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. Three of us stayed in the refugios, and our two camping mateswithout a booking were given a safe place to pitch a tent. The rooms were extremely comfy, with many blankets and had an emsuite bathroom with endless hot water. Outside the room is a lovely balcony with massage rollers, exactly what was needed this stage in the trek. The food was the best food I have had on salkantay, very veg and vegan friendly. There are coffee tours on site and a little store that sells the cheapest bread and fresh fruit/veg.when we left Mery gave us all Oreos and a banana for the road.

Cidelia and Yoel are the most lovely hosts and made sure I felt like home. The domes are spotless, the culinary lesson and food were amazing and the alpacas are the cutest things! Make sure to book the picnic, it was just divine. Thank you, I hope to be back one day ♥️
