Set within a cove in Puerto Galera, 1.6 km from Sabang Beach, Edgewater Dive & Spa Resort features an outdoor swimming pool, a restaurant with views of the Mangrove bay, and a spa facility. The location, the view and the restaurant is great. The rooms are clean and the AC is good. Breakfast is tasty. But the most important thing is that despite the bad weather we had, they helped us a lot, without the great staff, we would have stuck on the island because it wasn’t easy to find out which ferries were cancelled and which ones are not. They were informing us about all the details, and when the weather became better, they arranged us activities. Richard, the owner is awesome, he put a great team together. You feel like you are their most important guest, even when they are fully booked. This is not just a hotel, this is a resort when they are really there for you. Thank you everyone!! Excellent beach location. Comfortable, spacious room with good shower pressure and a nice verandah. Restaurant area had a great atmosphere and good music, easy to meet other guests. well located hammocks and comfortable chairs. Great sunsets. Food was excellent and the cheapest we’ve come across in 5 weeks in the Philippines. Wifi was good in our room and the restaurant. Hosts extremely helpful. Highly recommend.

Situated within less than 1 km of Balete Beach in Puerto Galera, Placido's Vacation Home provides accommodation with seating area. This place offers great value for the price. It’s well located, close to Puerto Galera, and although it’s near the road, it’s surprisingly quiet at night, and traffic didn’t bother me. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with working (though a bit loud) air conditioning, comfy beds, hot water, toiletries, toilet paper, a kettle, drinking water, and good Wi-Fi. There’s also a great restaurant at the entrance where you can have breakfast and enjoy solid meals between 9am and 9pm. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. The bed is pretty comfortable with multiple pillows. The place is also clean (though a little run down, here and there).

Everything about our stay was great! The shower was fantastic – strong pressure and perfect temperature, which made it really refreshing. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, even allowing us to check in early, which we truly appreciated. Having the option to cook our own breakfast made us feel right at home. It was a comfortable, welcoming place to stay.
