Our stay at this house was nothing short of perfect – we couldn’t have imagined a better place for our trip. The location is ideal, the house is situated pretty much in the middle between Transalpine and Transfăgărășan so it is the perfect place to choose if you want to explore both of these iconic roads. It’s located on the hill so the view of the mountains is awesome. It’s the perfect place to just relax because of the quiet, peaceful surroundings, yet it’s still just a 15-minute drive to the nearest city and markets if you need anything. The inside of the house was just as impressive as the outside! The design is beautiful - raw wood furniture is really nice and it adds a cozy, rustic touch to everything. Both the bed and sofa were super comfortable. And the hammock chair? It was my personal favorite. I spent hours on it, just reading books and relaxing! While the house itself is remarkable, the experience was made even better by the host. We couldn’t have asked for a more thoughtful and attentive person! The owner was super, super nice, always ready to help, responding quick and making sure our stay was the best as it could be! He made sure we had everything we needed and recommended us a salt mine to visit - if it wasn’t for him we wouldn’t know this place existed. He made the whole stay even better :) This place really exceeded all our expectations, and we can’t wait to return!!

The apartment had an excellent central location. It was well equipped and a great value. The host was quick and easy to communicate with. Check in was easy. I didn't talk to the host directly but via messages and he told me exactly how to find the building and where to get the keys. Don't let the outside of the building scare you, the apartment itself is clean and safe and modern.

We came from Boston on a family trip. This was a great stay in a beautiful region of Romania! Calimanesti is well worth a visit! The Olt river valley is amazing! We stayed at Casa Flori for two nights and experienced the best of Romanian hospitality! Excellent facilities in a beautiful country home that made us feel like family! Beautiful Cozia Mountain views from the kitchen, excellent atmosphere, warm and welcoming hosts!
