Aurora River Camp Glass igloos & cabins nabízí ubytování s patiem a terasu. Vlakové nádraží Kiruna se nachází 19 km odtud. I had a beautiful vacation at the Aurora River Camp. We had one of the glass igloos facing the river and spent 4 wonderful nights there. We saw the aurora on all four nights. The igloo comes with a small kitchenette and emergency toilet. There is a really comfortable and cozy common house with a kitchen, toilet and luxurious breakfast. Tony and all the staff are super approachable and helpful. We had the sauna and barbeque at the camp which were amazing experiences. We saw a grand show of the Northern Lights on our last day there and the best part was that we could enjoy it from the warmth of our room. There are lots of fun activities at the camp and around it. I would highly recommend the Husky sledding.

Arctic Colors Northern Lights Apartments se nachází v destinaci Porjus. V ubytování je dostupné bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách a na místě je k dispozici také soukromé parkoviště. Host was very friendly. Gave me a tour of the place and ensured I had key. I liked my name on the board outside the door too. Made me feel appreciated. Kitchen had essential items to cook and make coffee. I would stay again and for longer if given opportunity.

Exceptional service start to finish + setting and facilities to match. Dinner and breakfast experience were both divine. Cocktails were both unique and exquisite. We were only there 1 night to break up a longer journey, but intend to stay longer next time to enjoy the experiences they offer i.e. skiing, snow mobile excursions etc. Bonus = best gym I've seen in a hotel.

The bathrooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The laundry and drying room was great. And the SAUNA was the best!

Arctic Gourmet Cabin se nachází v destinaci Kiruna a má restauraci, pokojovou službu, bar, zahradu, terasu, venkovní gril a výhled na jezero. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Scandic Kiruna se nachází v destinaci Kiruna a poskytuje bar, nekuřácké ubytování a bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách. Jen 5,7 km odtud je Vlakové nádraží Kiruna. Sirak, who checked me in was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. He went above and beyond his daily duties by offering helpful tips and recommendations. His professionalism—especially while multitasking and assisting multiple customers at once—was truly impressive.

Situated in Jukkasjärvi in northern Sweden, IceHotel features rooms entirely made out of sculptured ice from the neighbouring Torne River. Warm rooms are also offered. We’re huge fans of this hotel. Over the past year, we’ve stayed three times and have experienced every type of room they offer. For adventure lovers, it’s simply fantastic. This time, we came especially for river rafting and gravel biking to enjoy Kiruna’s summer. Compared to the winter season, the atmosphere was much quieter, with a completely different vibe. It almost feels like you have the entire hotel to yourself—which is incredible. When it comes to the rooms, if you’re mainly there for the tours, any option will do. But if you’ve never stayed in an ice room, it’s an absolute must. Since we had already tried both the Deluxe and Art Suites before, this time we opted for a warm room(kamoos hotel room) , which worked perfectly. Before we stayed in a kamoos deluxe warm room and comparing to that, only significant difference was the comfiness of the bed. Pillows and mattress could be better. Also there was no mini fridge. Again, since we were out all day long for tours, -except the mattress- those didnt matter to us. Breakfast, as always, was fantastic. They’ve even added vegan bread—kudos to the chef, it was excellent. The dinner menu was the same as in winter: pricey, but absolutely delicious. Staff is amazing as always, we seen some familiar faces from our previous stays. Mostly they are working seasonal i guess but all of them are sharing the same passion. Overall, it’s a wonderful place both in winter and summer, but in my opinion, the real highlight is the tours. They are the perfect way to discover the North, immerse yourself in the culture, and experience the wilderness. So far, every guide we’ve had has been outstanding. I believe if we join few more tours, they will convince us to move to Kiruna :)
