Extremely convenient and beautiful building ran by kind people, from the first receptionist to the bar tender Elee and Alvan and a sweet man we met named Joel that was helping with a Maitenence issue! Everyone was so sweet - we had the best time and left a part of our hearts in Kiruna! Can’t wait to return to this wonderful hotel… also, get the junior suite! It’s worth it and hit the spa!!

Aurora River Camp Glass igloos & chalets er með verönd og er staðsett í Kiruna, 19 km frá Kiruna-lestarstöðinni, 17 km frá Kiruna-rútustöðinni og 20 km frá LKAB-upplýsingamiðstöðinni. The arctic fox was very cozy and warm (no matter the cold outside) with all needed amenities. The surrounding is magical and in walking distance to tourist places (Ice hotel, Sami museum). But the best part is the staff - Tony and Nikos made us feel most welcome and did everything in their power to make this our best vacation and experience! This was not our only location where we stayed and Aurora camp was by far the best. Highly recommended.

Set in Gällivare in the Norrbotten region, House in Gällivare has a patio and quiet street views. The villa also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. A super cozy and clean accommodation. A big plus was that dogs are allowed. Perfect for an overnight stop.

Located in Kiruna and only 20 km from Kiruna Train Station, Aurora Lakeside Cabin Altajärvi provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. I really enjoyed my stay here! I even got to see the Northern Lights at night. The owner left very clear and easy-to-follow instructions on how to get to the place. The cabin itself was very well maintained, cozy, and clean. The host quickly helped me get oriented and explained where everything was. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely visit this place again!

Niehku Mountain Villa er staðsett í Riksgränsen, 43 km frá Ofoten-safninu, og býður upp á gistingu með líkamsræktaraðstöðu, ókeypis einkabílastæði, verönd og veitingastað. Exceptional service start to finish + setting and facilities to match. Dinner and breakfast experience were both divine. Cocktails were both unique and exquisite. We were only there 1 night to break up a longer journey, but intend to stay longer next time to enjoy the experiences they offer i.e. skiing, snow mobile excursions etc. Bonus = best gym I've seen in a hotel.

Scandic Kiruna er staðsett í Kiruna á Norrbotten-svæðinu, 5,7 km frá Kiruna-lestarstöðinni og 3,7 km frá Kiruna-rútustöðinni. Það er bar á staðnum. Saunas with a panoramic view of the city and nature around. Wow, that was spectacular! Rooms were clean. We loved breakfasts with great choices and tasty, well cooked food.

Situated in Jukkasjärvi in northern Sweden, IceHotel features rooms entirely made out of sculptured ice from the neighbouring Torne River. Warm rooms are also offered. We’re huge fans of this hotel. Over the past year, we’ve stayed three times and have experienced every type of room they offer. For adventure lovers, it’s simply fantastic. This time, we came especially for river rafting and gravel biking to enjoy Kiruna’s summer. Compared to the winter season, the atmosphere was much quieter, with a completely different vibe. It almost feels like you have the entire hotel to yourself—which is incredible. When it comes to the rooms, if you’re mainly there for the tours, any option will do. But if you’ve never stayed in an ice room, it’s an absolute must. Since we had already tried both the Deluxe and Art Suites before, this time we opted for a warm room(kamoos hotel room) , which worked perfectly. Before we stayed in a kamoos deluxe warm room and comparing to that, only significant difference was the comfiness of the bed. Pillows and mattress could be better. Also there was no mini fridge. Again, since we were out all day long for tours, -except the mattress- those didnt matter to us. Breakfast, as always, was fantastic. They’ve even added vegan bread—kudos to the chef, it was excellent. The dinner menu was the same as in winter: pricey, but absolutely delicious. Staff is amazing as always, we seen some familiar faces from our previous stays. Mostly they are working seasonal i guess but all of them are sharing the same passion. Overall, it’s a wonderful place both in winter and summer, but in my opinion, the real highlight is the tours. They are the perfect way to discover the North, immerse yourself in the culture, and experience the wilderness. So far, every guide we’ve had has been outstanding. I believe if we join few more tours, they will convince us to move to Kiruna :)
