I had a great stay at Aurora River Camp! The owner was incredibly kind and caring, making sure everything was perfect during my visit. While the hotel isn’t located in the downtown area, they offer convenient transport for 300 SEK, which was really helpful. The location is excellent—just across from the famous Ice Hotel and an extra 20-minute walk to the reindeer sites from the Ice Hotel. They also arrange various activities, making it a great spot for those looking for a mix of adventure and relaxation. The atmosphere was so peaceful that I honestly wished I could have stayed longer. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. Highly recommended for a cozy and personalized experience in nature!

Arctic Colors Northern Lights Apartments is set in Porjus. This apartment offers free private parking, luggage storage space and free WiFi. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. Host was very friendly. Gave me a tour of the place and ensured I had key. I liked my name on the board outside the door too. Made me feel appreciated. Kitchen had essential items to cook and make coffee. I would stay again and for longer if given opportunity.

Niehku Mountain Villa is truly an unique place. The views from the hotel are spectacular and the building and its history are one of a kind. The staff and the service in the hotel were excellent. They made our stay very pleasant.

Featuring lake views, Arctic Gourmet Cabin in Kiruna features accommodation, free bikes, a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Situated in Jukkasjärvi in northern Sweden, IceHotel features rooms entirely made out of sculptured ice from the neighbouring Torne River. Warm rooms are also offered. Staffs sre very friendly responsive and helpful. Room is clean The resort area is nice and beside the frozen lake. Managed to catch northern light just outside room.
