Comfortable accommodations in beautifully restored historic building in downtown Hoorn. Arie, the host, was wonderful! He responded to inquiries promptly, welcomed me upon arrival and made me feel at home immediately, arranged for additional garden furniture, dinnerware, etc. to accommodate me hosting my family and friends in the beautiful church garden. Restaurants, stores, sights all within walking distance. Kitchenette equipped with everything one needs for breakfast, lunch, and easy dinners.

One of the finest hotels we have ever stayed in. Incredible amount of $$ spent to beautifully renovate a church. Unique in so many ways. Must see it to believe it. Cherish at the front desk went out of her way to help us with a serious issue with the river cruise company. She made several calls and saved us from real problems. Rooms were perfect. It is impossible for me to rate everything higher. It was incredible!!!!!

It's a 4-star hotel, but it's actually 5-star luxury. It's part of a larger complex that includes a casino, a restaurant, and probably other facilities that I didn't visit. The room is super clean, quite spacious, and very quiet with a great view on a wide green area. The bathroom was very nice, with a shower and a bath tub. My baby enjoyed her private swimming pool immensely! The location is just off the highway so it's very easy to reach. I also took the car for a 6m drive to a Halal restaurant, so the city is just a few minutes of driving. The Wi-Fi was open, no password needed. This is really convenient. The breakfast was superb. Very spacious restaurant and enough variety to satisfy all tastes. It's also available till 10:30, which is unusual (usually till 9:30 or 10:00 in most hotels I've been to). All in all, I'm definitely coming back in case I come back to Hoorn.

    The hotel was a mazing. I had never been to Horn before and the location of the hotel was superb. Right next to the canal and only a 5 min walk to the harbour where you can get nice food and drink. We were lucky enough to be able to pay for an upgrade to the family apartment which was perfect for us with two bedrooms, lounge kitchen and a small balcony that looks out over the canal. The owners were very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast had a wide variety of choices and was always very tasty.

    We enjoyed a fantastic long weekend. The hotel is very comfortable, clean and the breakfast was amazing. The Staff were very friendly and helpful and made sure everything was good for us. A very central location for the buses, trains and distances between other locations. This will be our Hotel every time on our future visits to the Netherlands.
