We loved the location which was 3 minutes from the castle and close to most sites. The property was well equipped with kitchen supplies; ventilation- air and heat; comfortable furnishings -and nice decor. Paula was very responsive and communicative- checking in on a regular basis and Luisa did a great job helping us park and orienting us to the property. We also appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine.

What a great stay. Rui is a a fantastic host! Arrived in the rain and the village was quite busy with the Portalegre Rally. We couldn’t find a spot and texted Rui. He came out immediately and got us a spot. Room was clean. Fun decorations. Comfy bed. Highly recommended!!!

The location is very good, far away from the city center. You can hear a far noise from the road but nothing really important as traffic is low. Additionally to the room you have a fair sized living room with an equipped micro-kitchen.

Location is great and we even got the room with view to the castle, even from the shower! The pool is a great addition and tastefully beautiful as the rest of the house . The breakfast is simple yet very nice with a bit of everything (bread,cereal, fruits, egg). The staff is kind too. There are a few nice locations for diner nearby and you’re only 5’ walking from the castle.
