The holiday home features free WiFi throughout the property. We liked everything from start to finish. We stayed for 3 nights and loved it. We were given good directions in advance of our visit and on arrival received such a warm welcome from Hilde. The accommodation was amazing in part of the converted farm house, which still retained so many of its original features. There was everything you needed and everywhere was spotlessly clean. We loved the breakfast choice (which I will not write about to make it a good surprise for you). The fridge with beers and wine etc. was an added bonus and such a great price too. We also loved the senseo coffee machine! The location was just perfect with ducks, sheep and birds just across the road. Plenty of room for children to run around and play. Everything had been thought of. Thank you Mathilde for a wonderful stay. We hope to return again.

Zelhem's city centre is can be reached by foot or by bicycle within 2 km, and offers multiple restaurants. Doetinchem’s train station is only 9 km from the bed and breakfast. Gastenverblijf Eenink offers a shuttle service from and to this station. The city centre of Doetinchem is 8 km away. Bronckhorst is 15 km away. We stayed here two nights while walking the Pieterpad. It is beautifully located between the fields with a beautiful garden. Very friendly hosts. Great breakfast. Access to bikes if you want to pop into Zelhem for dinner. Highly recommend.

We took a brief stop on our road trip in this small town. The room is not just a room. We were really surprised that the whole defense tower is our room! The interior is modern and comfortable with the castle view. As this is a defense tower, there are many windows around the room. So you can enjoy 360°c view from the room. Fantastic. Breakfast would be delivered in the morning and we had breakfast inside the room.
