The cabin is nicer than the pictures, lovely and charming. Good dirt roads to get there. I was worried about being cold but it was ok. They have a small heater and extra blankets but I didn't use them. Good wifi, good shower. Water filter in the cabin. There are extra amenities like a fire pit and a heated pool. Great breakfast with eggs, sausage, home made cheese bread, fruits, etc. The owner made us tea from her own plants. They also have a bigger cabin but it is not wood, this one is smaller but extremely nice. There is a waterfall park a few minutes away with a sand beach and a very nice Arab restaurant in the town across the highway. I stayed here after visiting the Mil Vidas winery, it's like 20 minutes away.

Lovely traditional hotel with good location and walking distance from everywhere. The hotel's most important asset is iara.I'm lost in words on how to describe my appreciation to her outsanding customer service! She took an extra mile to ensure that I had a very comfortable experience even though we were communicating via Google translate! She helped since the moment I confirmed my booking and provided all necessary information I needed for transportation. She even got me the bus tickets ahead so I can catch it early without any delays trying to purchase it on the same day. Areas for improvement: - I stayed in room 5 and the cold was unbeatable. The 3 blanks in the room were useless. The hotel should invest in any sort of heating system. That being said, Having the bed under the windows with short curtains wasn't a good idea. .

Small, calm, quiet - just lovely, and the staff could not do enough for us

This pretty candle-lit inn is in a restored country house in São João del Rei`s historical center. It`s furnished sun terrace is surrounded by flowering gardens.

it’s great área to stay and the staff are very polite. The food is great and all rooms is very clean!! My family and I enjoy to the building and the view and close to places that we visited. I really recommend this place. We are very satisfied with that.
