    Excellent breakfast with many home-made items. Breakfast room has historic room feel with ancient beams and pretty view over a sunken garden. Pool looked nice (small) but required an additional payment. Nice place to have a wedding. In the town centre and near the station. 40 mins to Copenhagen by fast train service.

    We really liked the overall ambiance in the hotel, in a kind of old English style. The facilities (pool, lounge, parking, ...) were absolutely tremendous. We can certainly enjoy these of hotels, and I would recommend anyone to do so, while these hotels still exist, because they might be a dying breed (I hope not). The staff was helpfull enough, friendly, but also a bit to the point. The breakfast is plenty and pleasant (altough very crowdy, see negatives). There are a enough spot to charge your EV (Clever or Spirri App recommended).

    - very idyllic and beautiful setting with lots of outdoor space - charming and quirky rooms, decorated with lots of attention to detail and little touches like fresh flowers -food: lots of fresh, local produce. great cooking; we had a very large dinner for 10 people and 17 people during our stay. would highly recommend - Morten is truly a special host and really made our experience! very friendly, accommodating and generous. great with people and makes you feel at home. he even gave the kids a ride on his mini tractor :)
