Breakfast offered an extensive choice, was delicious, and was offered for an extended period for those who needed an early start--to those who wanted to sleep in! The staff, (mostly Argentinian) were exceptional. Their weren't many people staying at the Lodge, but they still went out of their way to light us a bonfire, and were helpful getting us bicycles for the Ruta de Las Cascadas, and to help us with many other questions. Great crew!

Best place that could be, although its not close to Banos as we thought its the best. hot-water pool, nice stuff, nice owners, we felt like another home. and beautiful paintings and design.

If you would like very quiet out of the city noise where you can commute with nature this is for you . The owners were very accomodating . The free breakfast was surprisingly plentiful. The roaring river sang us to sleep. The room was very clean and the hot water shower felt absolutely wonderful. They offered to heat the pool for us.not for you if you fear heights.

Couldn't recommend it more. Incredible value for a spacious, clean room with balcony and shower. Very friendly staff who were always around to help. The on site spa is great and good value too, and the location is ideal.

A great hotel that had nearly everything we needed. The room was very clean, the staff is extremely nice and helpful. It was also a great location. The pool was fantastic, the food served in the restaurant was great too. We also used the laundry service - they got all our clothes clean and folded. The person who runs this place does a really great job!

The estate grounds are huge and beautiful. Lots of fruit trees too. The spa services were good and fairly priced. The breakfast was yummy and varied. A short cab ride to town but worth it for the gorgeous gardens.

    A hidden paradise with a mountain-top feel with great views. Friendly welcome from staff who had very good English. Swimming pool, table tennis and hammocks were all great, as was the tree house with good wifi even there! Exceeded all our expectations - felt far more than a 'normal hostel'. Good menu options for meals.

    This is such an amazing hostel. Excellent facilities including a pool, hot tub, additional activities, ping pong table, and some really cute dogs. The staff here are so helpful and friendly too. Highly recommended for staying in Baños.

    I'm so glad I stayed at Mama Tungu hostel and I can totally recommend it. The area is really green and you have waterfalls nearby. You can chill at the hostel the whole day, as there's a restaurant, the pool, the hot water tub,... and to get to Baños by taxi is easy. This was my favorite hostel during my 3 week holiday in Ecuador.

    Thefacilities are amazing (pool, hot tub, beer pong, table tennis, volley ball, indoor & outdoor bar etc) The location is super unique with great views and three waterfalls within walking distance. Ubers are $2 to town and cabs $3 it’s super easy to get to town The breakfast is 10/10 - although annoying it starts at 8:30! the dogs! they have taken in strays who are super friendly and even joined us on the free walking tour!
