I liked Greek yogurt with syrup and authentic bread, my husband liked eggs ,we both loved coffee and cheeses. We didn't care much about ham and sausages. It little bit too salty for us.

Our third stay — we love it! Owner and staff are fantastic. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Not on the main strip, so nice and quiet. Great views, lovely pool, nice breakfast and easy access to the beach. We’ll be back ❣️

The view from our room was fantastic. The staff was great. Meropi at the front desk was super helpful and kind. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. Breakfast was very good and complete. Our room, a superior double, was very spacious with a super balcony.

Amazing staff that made you feel so welcome. They gave us breakfast on arrival and provided us with towels for the pool until our room was ready. The staff can't do enough for you. They are so kind and go out of their way to ensure you have a lovely experience. It really makes all the difference. Rooms were great, with lovely thoughtful additions, like a welcome bottle of wine and home made lavender pouches with the towels. One room had a huge balcony with sun loungers and a hot tub, which was an amazing surprise. Would definitely recommend and stay again

Ano Syros is a medieval settlement on top of a hill made to protect inhabitants from enemies. Houses built one on the top of the other, stone walls and narrow streets with an amazing view of Ermoupolis and around area down below. So to stay there is an experience and the stay at Wind Tales maximize it! An old big house transformed to boutique guest house. Wherever possible the old elements have been kept in a useful manner giving easily to understand the ‘taste” of the Host. Extremely friendly and helpful personnel always with a smile and warm approach that is not ordinary in our days. Alexis received us and gave us a lot of information about the area and Syros in general. Suggested places worth to visit, beaches and restaurants (all the suggestions we managed to visit got 10/10 😊). For breakfast you seat at a veranda with breathtaking view and the …breakfast served. Homemade, tasteful local products. Simple but so delicious. We had to leave early morning thus we couldn’t catch the breakfast so we found in the refrigerator a bug (with a smile and wishes on it) with goodies for our travel. You may say nothing extraordinary. Agree but matter is that we haven’t asked for that! The place was very clean, the room comfortable with a unique…bathroom.

We had an incredible stay at this amazing boutique hotel and words simply cannot do it justice. The view from the rooms and the outdoor areas is stunning. Starlit skies at night and breathtaking sea views to greet you as soon as you wake up and look out of the windows. The tranquility of the hotel and the surrounding area means that just a couple of days here are like taking a whole week of vacation allowing us to quickly recharge our batteries! The build quality, the amenities and the facilities at OLEN are on par with the most expensive hotels. The staff was welcoming, kind and helpful. Breakfast was brought straight to our door. The property is located on a nice part of the island, just 20 minutes from the main town and just a few minutes from many nice beaches. The location is great for exploring Syros, but we were more than happy to just relax on the grounds and pools of this very unique hotel. We will definitely be coming back.

    Great location - very close to the beach, bars, tavernas, shops etc. We got the bus there from the Port and walked with our suitcases from the bus-stop. Room spacious and airy, nice balcony with great views of the sea. Swimming pool is large with comfortable sunbeds on two levels (some by the upper pool bar). There's a slide open at certain times for the kids. Breakfast very good - hot and cold options.

    Convenient location, quiet, lovely swimming pool, very friendly and helpful staff. Left luggage on the final day came was not an issue and came with a shower including toiletries.

    We had a beautiful ground floor studio apartment that opened out onto a spacious terrace just steps from the gorgeous swimming pool. We can highly recommend this lovely property with an extremely friendly, helpful owner who was on site every day.

    The swimming pool was great and the balcony overlooking the pool was a treat. Staff very friendly and efficient, the breakfast was delicious and the cocktails at the bar were top notch! Very well maintained hotel close to the beach and near to great restaurants. We’ll be back!

    The hotel was impeccable with an excellent breakfast, eaten outside or in, and a super clean swimming pool. Just a 5 minute stroll to the beach and tavernas with garden flowers and views of hills along the way. It had a small bar and lounge area. The bus stopped outside (if you ask) and we enjoyed going to the next beach Finacas, which was more sheltered and pleasant than the local one.
