Their yellow home was in front and our small apartment was in the back, along with an outdoor kitchen and dining area, and a nice swimming pool. The mother of the main host guy was super kind to us, as well as generous and helpful! She took care of us and showed us the good spots in Tela to find food, drinks, and groceries. Everyone was very friendly, enquiring about our stay and whether we were happy with everything (including activities outside the hotel). The rooms and the rest of the facilities were kept spotless. We saw a number of improvements (refreshed rooms, an additional pool, and a new building which is yet to be finished). The hotel has managed to keep up with the homely vibe.
