Stunning grounds and beautiful villa with period pieces and rich in history. Very spacious and the pool was great. We had it to ourselves! Agousto was so helpful, he even collected and dropped us off. Great communication and very friendly. Agousto also allowed us to check in early and out late which made our one night experience so much more special and we are really grateful for that. The master bedroom is just jaw dropping if you like period settings and grandeur. Enormous bedroom with fly screens and huge chandelier.. Really cosy large bed. All rooms very spacious. Kitchen a little old but is ok. 15 min walk to supermarkets. Would need a car for longer visits to explore.. 5 mins drive to cortona camucia train station.. Fantastic villa, such a friendly family. Thankyou Agousto 🙏

Great hosts! Gabriele is very helpful and kind. He offered an abundance of options for breakfast including fresh picked figs from the property. Very nice house with a homy feel. So much history and that classic Tuscan style estate. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings. Everything was well maintained and clean. Thanks again for having us!

The place was exceptionally clean, well cared for and welcoming. The food, all of which was grown on the property, was exquisite. We had breakfast and dinner for two days and each meal was perfect.

The staff was wonderful. Always helpful, friendly and caring. It was truly a pleasure every time we interacted. And the countryside around La Colmata is beautiful. Waking up in the morning and looking out our window at the view was truly one of the highlights of our entire visit to Italy.
