Escaia is a calm and quiet oasis about 25 minutes by car from Volterra and San Gimignano.

Wifi is available in the pool area and close to the main building.

All the apartments have a patio or terrace with a table and chairs for having meals outdoors in the warmer months.

This was our second time at "Escaia" and again, it was so wonderful, a little paradise for all of us. The apartment was great, the newly renovated bathroom, the beds, the decoration, the wonderful pool, the flowers everywhere, the Tuscan trees and so much more. And also the tranquility, the amazing sky at night and the sounds of the crickets and the birds. There is also a breakfast service 3 times a week with the local bakery where you can order your food via WhatsApp, and they deliver the goods to your apartment door in the morning, which is really nice. Since Escaia is located in the midst of nature, it would be a 20 - 25 min drive if one wanted freshly baked goods in the morning.

Beautiful location close to Volterra. Everyone was so nice and we felt like special guests of the family. Great restaurant on site (wild boar pasta!) and delicious breakfast. Definitely an authentic Tuscany experience off the beaten tourist path.
