We had the immense joy of spending nine unforgettable nights at this wonderful Agriturismo in the heart of Umbria, together with our five-year-old son and our newborn daughter. Words can hardly express the warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality we experienced. Rebecca and Roberto welcomed us not just as guests, but as part of their family — a feeling so rare and precious that it will stay with us forever. Every moment was filled with care and authenticity: from the beautifully prepared, generous breakfast where every wish was granted, to the outstanding meals crafted from fresh, local ingredients. The dry-aged beef was simply a dream — each bite a celebration of flavour, prepared with such love and mastery that it left us truly speechless. Our apartment was perfectly equipped and thoughtfully arranged, with comfortable beds that gave us the rest we needed to fully soak in the magic of the place. Every little detail reflected a spirit of passion, tradition, and an open heart. In addition to the perfect stay, Rebecca and Roberto went above and beyond by offering us wonderful tips for excursions and sharing the must-see spots in the region. Their recommendations brought us closer to the true essence of Umbria, making every outing an experience to treasure. We leave with full hearts, immense gratitude, and a deep sense of having found a home away from home. This place was pure relaxation and peace. Beautiful surroundings, a stunning pool, and even the option of a private wine tasting. As wine producers, they also offer bottles directly in the fridge for purchase – a lovely touch! Super dog-friendly – our pup could freely roam around the whole property. A special thank you to the owner – incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely friendly. If you want to feel like you’ve stepped into a scene from a telenovela, this is the place to be. Highly recommended! 😄

Beautiful house with not too many rooms, very big swimming pool, a soccer field for the kids and the most beautiful surroundings. Serena and Roberto and the other staff made every effort for us to feel like at home, we spent there a week and a half, and we felt so good there that we didn't want to leave. There are many things to do and visit nearby, Montepulciano wineries, Pienza, Monticiello, Perugia, Orvieto, the Lake Trasimeno and many others. You had a typical Italian breakfast with many cakes and cookies to choose from, and you could also have dinner if you wanted, which was composed of antipasto, a first course, second course and desert, and of course you could have some of their own wine to accompany the meal.

Set in pretty gardens, from the moment we arrived at Le Macerine, we felt so welcome. We normally camp nearby, but as our usual campsite is closed for renovation and we were only away for a week Le Macerine provided the perfect alternative for us to see friends, with its lovely pool and sun terrace, both of which we quite often had to ourselves, and close proximity to Lake Trasimeno and the beautiful Umbrian town of Castiglione del Lago, full of artisan shops selling local produce and tempting restaurants with amazing food and panoramic views of the Lake . The air-conditioned bungalow provided the perfect respite after a day in the sun and temperatures well into the 30s, the bed was really comfortable, bedding was changed halfway through our stay, and clean towels provided every day. Then there were the breakfasts ... Wow! Croissants, pastries, delicious homemade cakes, cereals, cheese, yoghurts, juice and any coffee you wanted, served by the super friendly staff on the terrace. I can honestly say I went to bed every night looking forward to this!
