Damask Rose is beautiful (even more beautiful than the pictures show), comfortable, and hospitable. The property is beautifully decorated and includes murals and designs from artists from all around the world. The rooms are big and comfortable with great A/C. The wifi was good enough for us to have video calls without any issue. The best part is the staff and hospitality! They will make you feel welcome like family. The breakfasts that Nida makes are amazing (and huge), Hicham is an excellent tour guide who will help you plan your itineraries or take you there himself, and his wife Ana is friendly and kind. We saw so much of the beauty, history, and culture of Lebanon in such a short time thanks to Hicham!

perfect ! breakfast is so delicious. just small minus is that you need to wait for your food. it’s was just once open buffet. there is stunning view on swim pool area and from a room. stuff is so friendly, helpful, well-trained and cool. service is so fast with any inquiries. water, fruits, food, any extras … they delivered in 3-5 mins. wow !

The rooms of the hostel are clean and comfortable. The atmosphere is calming and peaceful. The owners, Hicham and Ana, are so kind and welcoming. The space, from the living room to the swimming pool area, is colorful, joyful and full of character. I would recommend it to everyone! :) Also for solo female travellers since the rooms are divided between boys and girls, and the room of girls has its own terrace.

The architecture is incredibly beautiful, the castle itself is surrounded by a huge forest that gives the vibes of royalty lifestyle, the staff is so kind, thanks a lot to Rafka who has been helpful throughout our stay, and also provided us with wood for the fire place to make the experience even better at night.
