Hidden Gem alert ⚠️ this place is magical. The location is breathtaking and also the the owner and staff. Very friendly and taking care about the guests. I didn't expect this kind of place before I come here. But this place exceeded our expectations. Specially authentic food was very delicious. Everything We stayed in the Villa, it’s one of the best in the world. Located in Rubber and Cinnamon trees farm. The staff were super friendly specially Ajith made sure our stay was super comfortable. The food was good, i think they could do better. Photos and previous reviews were all accurate. It's a newly listed property and they are off to a great start with lots of enthusiasm and very receptive to suggestions to improve their service. We were sad to leave but there was a flight to catch. Potentially the best Sri Lankan food and most generous portions we had from all our 3 weeks of traveling around the island. A limited menu but each dish perfectly made to suit an English palette. Very well kept room. Heavenly bed linen and the nicest rooftop for spotting a variety of birds. The swimming pool was well maintained and was the perfect temperature on a sweltering day. The manager was very helpful organizing the airport transfer for us and it took us less than 90 minutes to reach the airport. The highway to the airport is close to the villa but not too close to be an eyesore. Just lush hills, friendly Sri Lankans, chirpy birds and cosy corners to read a book, reply e-mails and live stream our surroundings to family back home experiencing winter . I can honestly recommend a stay here to any discerning travelers seeking some solitude and a slower pace for a few days.

The place and the staff were amazing. Among the food they served, the french fries were top notch. It was simple and spicy. The tea was great too. I ordered their best recommended prawns dish which was also amazing. The place was like a little village of its own. I loved the stay. The staff was extraordinary.

This was one of the best nature accommodation experiences that I've ever had. We were able to completely disconnect and bathe in nature for two days. I never write reviews but honestly felt compelled to do so for this property. I kind of am scared that somehow many people will find out about it and it will lose it's beautiful appeal by becoming overcrowded! But for anyone thinking about having an adventure and venturing deep into the jungle in Sri Lanka spending a night surrounded by the elements in an amazing luxury setup with absolutely wonderful staff and an exceptional cook then look no other way. Thank you for allowing us to have such an amazing experience. It had been years since we were able to slow down and do just nothing. And us spending our day idly was the best part of this stay. Reading, writing, hiking, trekking, swimming in a natural pool, listening to the rain and the river water flowing, watching fireflies, staring at the shadows of trees on the ceiling, we felt that we were children again! We'll definitely be coming back. A big thank you to Chandana and Dissanayake for their great hospitality and absolutely AMAZING food. And of course a big thank you to the owner of the property that was extremely helpful making sure we are comfortable and very well taken care of during our stay. Please keep the property the gem that it is, sustainably nestled inside the jungle co-existing with Sinharaja in such a beautiful way! Thanks for providing us with such a great opportunity to reconnect with nature.

What an Oasis - only 4 villas and so quiet. Very attentive staff with free Tuk Tuk ride to the beach. Beautiful swimming pool and lovely comfy beds - wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area more so cant comment on that but we took the Tuk Tuk to the beach and then walked back and it was an easy walk.
