nice spacious room with porch facing the beautiful garden and pool. Property is run by very welcoming and nice family. We were warmly greeted. Very good breakfast, but too much for us, and they changed it according to our wishes. Also they arranged for us jeep safari in Minerya national park (as per their advice due to elephant's path) and we saw a lot of those incredible animals. Special thanks to Ravi - family member who speaks very good English and advised us for many things.

The owners, Leo and Wanda, couldn’t do enough to help our stay go smoothly. They helped shape are itinerary and suggestions additions that were fantastic, eg Sri Lankan dance show at the cultural centre, organising a fabulous yoga teacher, as well as great safari. Relaxed and happy vibe to the place with lovely pool area.

It’s very rustic and simple. AC is very functional. There were a few hiccups, but the outstanding staff addressed everything immediately. Everything I tried on the menu was delicious. There isn’t a lot to do in Habarana, but it’s a great location to stay if you want to visit the cave temple, Sigiriya, Miniriya and Polonnaruwa. The first three are less than 30 mins away. Polonnaruwa was a fast hour.

The resort is run by a lovely family, who even helped us with organizing a safari and renting a scooter. Furthermore, the rooms are very spacious with a terrace to relax. The pool is clean and the breakfast really tasty. Would definitely recommend this resort!

    The meals were excellent. The owner is a Chef by profession. That's a huge plus point. He provided us with a BBQ on the first night. It was done well. We enjoyed the facilities such as the swimming pool and the garden space.

    Location is calm and peaceful. They have a nice infinity swimming pool overlooking lake , Staff is so welcoming and well trained. Good restaurant and good sitting places.     - lovely swimming pool and garden among nature - cute decoration on our bed for our honey moon - cute tree house with nice wood work - good Booking deal: the treehouse was 50$ a night, and it was adequate. - nice breakfast with fruits and local sweet and savoury pastries (juice and proteins like eggs would be a nice addition) - Dudley helped us arrange a safari and a tuktuk to the train station - Hot water in the shower at the tree house

    Staying at Dudley’s during the off-season was perfect – we had the entire place to ourselves at a great price. The room was very nice, the bathroom spotless, and the breakfast delicious. We loved the jungle-like garden with its trees, flowers, and bird songs, as well as the cool, clean swimming pool. Dudley is friendly and always ready for a chat. A great place to stay if you want to visit Sigiriya, just a short tuk-tuk ride away.
